I am John
Faulk, conservative Republican candidate for the Texas
18th Congressional District. With your help, I will defeat career politician, liberal Democrat Sheila Jackson Lee.
I decided to run for Congress in 2008 because I was fed up with all of the shenanigans
going on in Congress. When I found out that 84% of Americans agreed with me,
I started asking around about who was going to straighten out the mess in Washington
D.C. I discovered that no one was willing to take on Sheila Jackson Lee,
so if no one else would stand up for my country, then I would!
Rather than tend to the primary needs of Americans, the current
Democrat led Congress seems to be too distracted by "earmarking" in "pork
barrel" projects. The 110th Congress would rather
chase down our sports "heroes" with allegations of
steroid and human growth hormone (HGH) use.
While the United
States economy is faltering, families are losing their homes
in an unparalleled mortgage
crisis,
jobs are being lost and the business world is in turmoil, we
need representatives in Congress to stay focused on who they
represent and why.
I will represent and serve the people living
in the Texas 18th Congressional District with determination,
experience and wisdom. I will represent ALL the constituents
of the Texas 18th Congressional District. I will bring the following
essential capabilities to the table in your behalf:
- Business Experience (Health & Medical Industry)
- A Masters Degree In Business - MBA (I can read, understand and act appropriately
on budgetary concerns)
- Accounting (As a semi-retired Accountant, I have a demonstrated
history of watching the "Bottom Line")
- Fund Raising (The Private Sector can fund projects better,
faster and more efficiently than turning to the "tax coffers". The
Democrats believe it is better to use confiscated funds of others to pay for
pet projects.)
- Military Experience (Essential for National Security and Public Safety)
I will stand on my strong morals, traditional values and the wisdom that you
would expect and want from your congressman. I pray that I can earn your trust,
support and prayers.

Jackson-Lee. She has proven
to
be an ineffective leader, and is more concerned with world affairs than
serving the constituents of the 18th Congressional District of Texas.
